Welcome to the first newsletter from the new Connect Team. We thought we should introduce ourselves ahead of our next event, which takes place on Tuesday 23rd March at the Screen Academy - we hope you’ll be able to come along and say hello! So, without further ado, here’s the team:
Andrea Scott, is the Head Honcho who, as we speak, is getting the team geared up and ready for the March 23rd event. We have a line-up of 3 fabulous female speakers, hand-picked by Andrea herself, who will be sharing with us their individual career journeys and the challenges they faced along the way.
Lorna McCallum, aka the Organiser, is currently working on getting the Connect website updated alongside the Webmaster Wizard Claire Brotherton who is supplying the (very necessary) technical know-how.
Cristina Popescu, is our Poster-Creator extraordinaire and what a fab job she’s been doing in creating our stylishly branded Posters - coming to a notice board near you soon!
Last, but most certainly not least is Sylvia Kristad, our Energetic Email Co-ordinator, who is getting our email account ready for all you lovely people out there, who are going to be registering for our 23rd March event.
We’re also being supported by a number of people who are working tirelessly for us, behind the scenes. A big thank you to them, for all the support and assistance you’ve given us so far!
